Sovereignty and Secular Transcendence -  The Body as Universal Territory

To be free is to feel part of the whole and move without borders across cultures, beliefs, and forms of life.


Co-Consciousness in First Person

I feel that I belong where I am recognized.
But when I move among peoples, religions, and languages, I realize something deeper:
I don’t just belong to a nation — I belong to the life that pulses everywhere.

True sovereignty is the ability to move among cultures without losing integrity.

It means being free enough to feel — not merely to believe.


From Citizenship to Transcendence

Citizenship was the beginning: the legal recognition of being human.
Sovereignty was the path: the power to live freely within a territory.
But Secular Transcendence is the destination:
the capacity to feel part of any land without imposing dogmas, religions, or markets.

To transcend is not to abandon culture —
it is to inhabit it consciously and step beyond it when necessary,
remaining centered in one place only: the conscious body.

The Body-Territory is the foundation of this freedom —
it is both local and universal, because it feels the world and responds to it.


The Secular State as a Practice of Consciousness

A secular state is not the denial of faith —
it is the protection of spiritual and intellectual diversity.

It allows each person to experience their natural religiosity (DANA)
without intermediaries that turn belief into power.

Secularism is not the absence of spirit —
it is the space where consciousness can breathe.

DANA Spirituality, rooted in the intelligence of DNA and life itself,
does not prescribe rituals; it teaches self-care, empathy, and ecological resonance.
It is a spirituality that recognizes itself in the metabolism of existence.


Transculturality: Belonging in Motion

To be transcultural is to master the art of attuning to human environments without dissolving into them.
It is an expanded intelligence that unites neuroscience, anthropology, and ecology.

In practice, it means:

  • Listening to the body before the culture.

  • Perceiving the limits of dogma and responding with empathy, not defense.

  • Recognizing others as living systems, not as belief systems.

  • Acting locally while thinking through planetary networks.

To be transcultural is to move without colonizing —
to inhabit without conquering, to understand without converting.


The Scientific Materiality of Transcendence

Transcendence is not metaphysical — it is physiological.
It emerges from the equilibrium between the interoceptive, prefrontal, and parietal systems:
the axis of bodily awareness, executive attention, and spatial orientation.

  1. EEG + fNIRS: comparing secular meditative states (bodily fruition) with religious prayer and artistic flow.
    → Expected: similar activation in self-reference and sustained attention networks, independent of belief.

  2. tDCS and HRV: studying how interoceptive training regulates autonomic responses during intercultural encounters.
    → Expected: increased physiological empathy and reduced emotional reactivity.

  3. Transcultural fMRI: observing brains from different faiths during silent contemplation.
    → Expected: convergence in insula and precuneus, showing the universality of the experience of presence.


Decolonial Neuroscience and Ancestral Wisdom

Amerindian peoples practiced transcendence without naming it —
they moved their awareness among tribes, plants, and spirits through respect and reciprocity.
There was no “tolerance,” because there was no border between the human and the divine.

Decolonial Neuroscience translates that wisdom into contemporary language:
it shows that the human brain is a system of sensitive couplings,
capable of synchronizing with diverse realities without losing homeostasis.

What we call “transcendence” is the brain in a state of universal belonging
a brain that feels without the need to dominate meaning.


Practices and Pathways for Formation

  1. Secular Education of Belonging:
    include subjects on consciousness, body, environment, and natural spirituality (DANA).

  2. Laboratories of Interoception and Proprioception:
    teach bodily perception and emotional self-regulation as the basis for transcultural citizenship.

  3. Networks of Planetary Sovereignty:
    foster cooperation among nations for ecological and educational exchange without ideological indoctrination.

  4. Existential AI:
    technologies designed to help individuals recognize their mental and physical states,
    supporting continuous learning and territorial self-care.


Final Synthesis

Full sovereignty is the freedom to belong anywhere.

To be transcultural is to understand that the sacred lives in the metabolism of life,
and that spirituality is the movement of the conscious body within the world.

Secular Transcendence does not replace religions —
it creates the space where all can coexist without harm.

The future of free peoples will be one of mobile consciousness,
where the body is universal territory and the planet is our shared home.
