Portable fNIRS?
That’s right! For 2018 OHBM, Nirx is introducing their new portable fNIRS system: NIRSpor 2! It allows for better signal quality, whole head imaging and the highest channel count of any portable fNIRS system. NIRSport 2 is also lighter and smaller.
SHORT CHANNELS
In 2018, Nirx presents the first, comprehensive, easy-to-use solution for integrating extracerebral hemodynamics. To help us understanding which part of the vasculature contributes most to fNIRS signals, NIRX has developed very short channels (8mm) for the elimination of superficial confound!
News on BCI, Neurofeedback, and fNIRS
NIRX has also announced a partnership with Brain Innovation, because of fNIRS technology popularity in the field of neurofeedback and BCI. Together they will be offering advanced tools for real-time fNIRS processing and real-time fMRI analysis.
